It would actually be a joy to see Lu slowly integrating herself into the Shanaa family, which could also provide an excellent new story possibility for her. Lu would presumably travel with her, since Nadia's mother openly welcomed Lu into their family in the season finale. Plus, Nadia promised Guzmán she could return to him at some point, and fans are eagerly praying they will see that reunion happen onscreen. Seeing as Nadia's family is still in Spain, she could always travel home for school breaks to see them. However, a spin-off would take them away from Elite, which isn't the goal here. Fans now want to see their adventures in the new city, with some even calling for a spin-off. In the end, they both won, and their friendship will continue in New York City. Lu and Nadia gradually began to support each other as they competed for the same scholarship. For much of the first two seasons of the show, they were enemies, with Lu seeing Nadia as a threat both at school and for Guzmán's affections.
